Rudiments are the building blocks of drumming technique. Knowledge of these essential patterns and the ability to play them fluidly at any tempo will make members of the percussion ensemble better drummers regardless of the style of music they play. As a part of the mission of Speaking in Rhythms Inc., students participate in a rudiments workshop to develop their sticking techniques.
